The colour of a Black Kite’s (TONBI) wing is actually brown with a hint of red. TONBI glide effortlessly through the air instead of flapping their wings. Builders who work in lofty heights are called TONBI for the way they gracefully maneuver like these majestic creatures.

There is a song these men always sing when they perform their most important task.

Originally this was a work song to raise their spirits when they passed heavy logs. Even today this song is sung on the celebratory occasion of weddings and festivals. Combining masculinity and stylishness, this song builds their spirits.

The TONBI of Nagata Shachu will raise their spirits through song, then glide like kites.
