2019

Friday, May 24  Fifteen-minute performance at the opening ceremonies of Anime North 2019.  Toronto Congress Centre, North Building.  Time TBA.

Saturday, May 25  One-hour concert at Anime North 2019 in front of the Toronto Congress Centre South Building.  Time 4 pm.

Sunday, May 26 Fifteen-minute performance at the closing ceremonies of Anime North 2019. Toronto Congress Centre, North Building.  Time TBA.

Tuesday, May 28 One-hour performance presented by the Canadian Opera Company’s Noon Concert Series.  12:00 noon. Free.

Saturday, June 8 Nagata Shachu’s third and final concert of its 20thAnniversary Season.  Taiko X Celtic!  in collaboration with The American Rogues. 8 pm.  Tickets Harbourfront Centre Box Office

Monday, June 17 Forty-five minute taiko workshop followed by one-hour concert at Guild Park, Scarborough as part of Animating Toronto Parks supported by the Toronto Arts Council and the Toronto Arts Foundation.  Workshop at 6:30 pm followed by concert at 7:30 pm.  Free to the public.  More details to come.  Rain date, Monday, June 24.

Sunday, June 23 Forty-five minute taiko workshop followed by one-hour concert at Alexmuir Park, Scarborough as part of Animating Toronto Parks supported by the Toronto Arts Council and the Toronto Arts Foundation.  Workshop at 2 pm followed by concert at 3 pm.  Free to the public.  More details to come.  Rain date, Sunday, June 30.  

Saturday, June 29 One-hour performance for Festival of Nations.  Chatham, ON.  4 pm.

Monday, July 1 Twenty-minute performance for the 30th Anniversary of Burlington-Itabashi twinning.  Spencer Smith Park on the Waterfront, Burlington.  4 pm.

Sunday, July 14 Performances for Carabram. 3 pm (20 minutes) & 4 pm (25 minutes)

Sunday, August 11.  Performance for Festival des traditions du monde de Sherbrooke.  One-hour Nagata Shachu show at 1:30 pm.  Nagata Shachu in collaboration with the American Rogues at 6:30 pm.
