This concert, originally scheduled on Saturday, March 28 has been postponed to Saturday, September 26, as a precaution related to COVID-19. Tickets already purchased have automatically been transferred to the new date. However, full refunds are available, if your payment was processed by Brown Paper Tickets.  Please contact them within 2 weeks at refunds@brownpapertickets.com. Be sure to include your confirmation number. For those of you who cannot attend the performance on September 26, we also kindly ask you to consider donating a part of your refund to Nagata Shachu Japanese Taiko group by going to deejay.brownpapertickets.com. As you can probably understand, the group has already lost a significant amount of time and money preparing for this concert.

Sunday, May 3 Nagata Shachu members Kiyoshi Nagata, Aki Takahashi and Tony Nguyen will be special guests for the Toronto Tabla Ensemble’s latest CD release concert. Fleck Dance Theatre. 7 pm.

June 28 to July 12 Nagata Shachu is honoured to be returning to Arts in the Parks, an initiative of the Toronto Arts Foundation, presenting afternoons and evenings of free taiko workshops and performances. Locations are:  Rustic Park (Etobicoke), Neilson Park (Etobicoke), Amos Waites Park (Etobicoke), Guild Park and Gardens (Scarborough), Parma Park (East York), Walter Saunders Park (Scarborough).  Exact dates and times to be announced.
