Sunday, May 3 Nagata Shachu members Kiyoshi Nagata, Aki Takahashi and Tony Nguyen will be special guests for the Toronto Tabla Ensemble’s latest CD release concert. Fleck Dance Theatre. 7 pm.

June 28 to July 12 Nagata Shachu is honoured to be returning to Arts in the Parks, an initiative of the Toronto Arts Foundation, presenting afternoons and evenings of free taiko workshops and performances. Locations are:  Rustic Park (Etobicoke), Neilson Park (Etobicoke), Amos Waites Park (Etobicoke), Guild Park and Gardens (Scarborough), Parma Park (East York), Walter Saunders Park (Scarborough). 

NOTICE: Nagata Shachu will be presenting free online workshops and a live-stream performance instead due to government regulations surrounding COVID-19. More details to come.

This concert, originally scheduled on Saturday, March 28 has been postponed to Saturday, September 26, as a precaution related to COVID-19. Tickets already purchased have automatically been transferred to the new date.
