YAMABUKI is a deep yellow flower that blooms in late spring. It grows in layers and sometimes its yellow covers an entire hillside.
Japanese flutes such as shinobue and shakuhachi are made with a single piece of bamboo. What a beautiful sound that simple piece of bamboo gives us!
The throat is also an instrument. We use it to give meaning to our words, but it is not much different from a simple flute or a drum.
Any instrument requires time and effort to play it well. By practicing, a sound becomes a melody and then becomes your song.
I hope you can hear the rising song of nature from the flute that sings and the voice that plays, just like that vivid YAMABUKI climbing the hill.
