Augmented Reality Poster
This past summer, Nagata Shachu in collaboration with Ukai Projects, led a digital residency called Migration. Over three months through weekly Zoom meetings, ten culturally specific arts organizations learned how to translate their artistic practices to digital platforms while honouring the artistic intentions behind the work. Twenty-eight technologists where involved in building digital proto-types for each participating organization. This project was funded with the generous support of the Canada Council for the Arts
As part of this residency, Nagata Shachu worked with CAM Collective to tell the stories of Nagata Shachu members and its instruments through augmented reality. Scan the QR code and then point your mobile device camera to any of the black icons to see and hear our stoires!
