Beginner Taiko Course
When: Tuesdays 7 pm to 8:30 pm commencing September 12
Duration: 10 weeks
Course Description: A simple drill piece titled Narushima, and basic song Ogi Matsuri Daiko will be taught
Course Fee: $275 plus cost of drumsticks $15 (Total $290)
This 10-week course is a lot of fun, a great workout, and helps to improve musical skills. You will learn basic drills, form, technique and a traditional piece for taiko. No previous musical experience is necessary. Although playing taiko can be physically demanding, we respect everyone’s abilities and limitations. Space is limited to 10 participants.
