On December 9, 2009 Nagata Shachu performed it's first concert in Florida at The Society of the Four Arts in Palm Beach. All the members enjoyed the hot sunny weather which was a nice break from Toronto's cold winter.

Nagata Shachu's sponsor, Miyamoto Unosuke Shoten Co. Ltd, one of Japan's most respected taiko companies, recently donated this beautiful taiko (54 cm in diameter and made from keyaki wood).

Nagata Shachu's first DVD is now available...but only at our shows!
Recorded live at its 10th anniversary concert on November 28, 2008 at Ryerson Theatre, Toronto, this DVD captures the spirit of Nagata Shachu in concert, as it plays new and rarely performed works along with old favorites.
