The word SHIRO [white]
originated from SHIRAMU [grow light], which we can see in the morning.
It is the purest and most divine colour of all.
It will repel every colour
and light, revealing the truth of a thing. We will try to express
this whiteness with as minimal sound as possible.
Consistently simple gong
sound
Transparent bell
Upright shamisen strings
Cold glow of glockenspiel
Tight peal of flute and glorious sound of Taiko
It is harder to peel off colour than to layer it. Not a single extra
sound. We restrain our urge to beat the drums. We wait.
That is how we grasp what really matters.
