| Three Oni (ogre like characters) gather around the taiko reeking havoc during a ritualistic night of drumming. This piece is inspired by Gojinjo Daiko which dates back to 1577 when villagers of Noto Peninsula bravely beat war drums and wore ferocious looking masks with seaweed on their heads in a bid to ward off invasion. | |
